Full introductory sequence of illuminations, including large double arcade, cross, Christ in glory, a full opening for each evangelist, the genealogy of Chirst, followed by full-page Bird eating snake, Various discussants under arches and Noah’s ark (fols. 1-15r) -- Beatus: Commentary on the Apocalypse (fols. 16r- 205v; Prologue I starts on fol. 16r, Prologue II starts on fol. 16v, Book I starts on fol. 25r) -- Jerome: Commentary on Daniel (fols. 205v- 248, the last folio is a much later replacement for the missing end of the commentary) Note: catchwords, those on fols. 23v and 31v are enclosed in images of an animal and a man, respectively -- the lion of fol. 3v and the eagle on fol 5v were pounced, and this pouncing occurred after the quire was assembled --
