Filled rustic capitals -- Ornamental initials in Franco-saxon style: One painted P, half page in height, foliate and interlace; four painted initials 4-5 lines high, two of those zoomorphic; seven others in pen outline with foliate, interlace and zoomorphic elements -- Historiated initials: I formed by painted John the Evangelist; R with Resurrection, painted- Christ seated in top section, angels in lower section lift him; B for feast of Saint Michael, pen outline-very similar to Resurrection, Michael and another angel hold up seated Christ in Majesty; D, Calling of Peter and Andrew, pen outline-Christ, placed in front of letter, gestures to Peter and Andrew in boat, synoptic evangelist symbols form ascender of the D; Several pages are mutilated where initials have been cut out -- Marginal drawing: Saints Denis, Rustique and Eleuthère, pen outline-Denis holds book, faces forward, other two are smaller, they face Denis, one holding a book, the other a scroll
